Background and experience: Pre-coaching experience primarily in the field of TEFL, especially within the business sector. Related experience and skills include: materials writing (book and CD-Rom), tailoring language programmes to individual needs, good awareness of adult learning (also from cross-cultural perspective), needs analysis, staff induction, training and support, managing client requests and expectations, dealing with clients from a wide range of nationalities, specialist training for specific language requirements (e.g. report writing for auditors and tax consultants), report writing and language level assessment.
Areas of expertise: Delivering tailored cross-cultural training: culture general for mixed nationalities, culture specific especially for Japan and Italy for cross-cultural teams, relocations etc.

Coaching achievements: Katherine is a faculty coach-mentor with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring, is their Lead Assessor and delivers coaching qualification programmes for the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

Katherine’s main area of experience is with small and medium sized companies and start-ups, including team coaching. Small niche area has included clients in mental health (mental health charity – management and counsellors, 2 x psychotherapists). She is also a Business Link coaching supplier for Directors+ scheme in Coventry and Warwickshire area.
