Coach As Supervisor Programme
Introduction
The OCM’s ‘Coach as Supervisor’ programme fills a gap in the supervision training market as it is uniquely designed to support the needs of internal coaches who are stepping into coach supervision roles within their organisation.
Key drivers for candidates embarking on the ‘Coach as Supervisor’ programme include commitment to protecting the organisation’s investment into training internal coaches, enhancing and professionalising the quality of coaching delivered internally, and being able to demonstrate to key stakeholders that there are robust processes for coach support, development, engagement and management.
The programme aims to build a solid platform of supervision skills and knowledge through The OCM’s tried and tested blended learning approach, and is delivered by The OCM’s senior supervisors, Katherine Long and Angela Hill.
Aim
To develop supervisory skills to enable experienced coaches to supervise other coaches with confidence and competence.
Suitability
This is suitable for any qualified coaches who have been coaching for at least 2 years and are looking to confidently and competently supervise other coaches. It is an ideal course for an HR or L&D specialist who has qualified as a coach and now has the responsibility for developing an internal pool of coaches to work across the business and is looking to provide supervisory support to them.
Accreditation
This programme is accredited by The OCM and meets and exceeds the recommended guidelines for Supervision set out by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Duration
6 months (flexible, part-time) with an average of 10 hours of study required per month.
Location
All workshops will take place in Central London.
Cost
£2,795 (+ VAT).

The 'Coach as Supervisor' programme runs on a waiting list basis, so as soon as we reach the minimum number of candidates required to run the programme ,we arrange the workshop dates around your prior commitments.
