Eric ParsloeEric Parsloe, Chairman
Eric is the Chairman and founder of the OCM Group. An experienced international executive coach-mentor and an acknowledged subject expert and author. He was one of the founders of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and continues to play an active role in setting national and occupational standards for the coach-mentoring profession. He has extensive Board level experience in companies as diverse as Granada, Prudential, Legal and General and GEC and created award winning communication programmes for Ford, IBM and BT. He is a former President of the Oxford Union and a founder chairman of the Centre for Speech and Debate at the English speaking Union. He is also a qualified Rugby Coach.


Ed ParsloeEd Parsloe, Business Director
Ed started working with the company 10 years ago and as a full time employee since 2002. For the last 2 years he has had overall responsibility for strategic business and commercial product development. As a result, Ed has been instrumental in the re-brand and repositioning of the company whilst continuing to push for the greater use of technology, in all its guises, in the coach-mentoring market. Having qualified from Bristol University, Ed went on to study for a Masters degree in Business Management at London Metropolitan University whilst continuing his work in the business.


Charlotte ParkCharlotte Park, Director of Programmes
Charlotte has been working with the company for the past 5 years after a career in Human Resources in Retail and Distribution. She has a strong background in management, coaching and mentoring, training and development as well as the legal and technical issues involved in Human Resources. Charlotte is highly experienced in setting up structured coaching and mentoring programmes to facilitate the development of senior managers and support leadership behavioural changes. She is responsible for overseeing and facilitating many client programmes and workshops.


Mike WhiteMike White, Lead Faculty Member
Mike has been working alongside The OCM since 1997 with specific responsibility for faculty development, review and support. Mike’s early engineering and project management experience was gained with London Transport followed by 5 years within the Road Transport Industry Training Board before moving on to become the Head of Training and Personnel for Renault UK. A highly experienced and respected Coach-mentor he was key in establishing the CIPD Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring and is an active and experienced supervisor of coaches.


Cathy WhiteCathy White, Programme Support
Cathy has been working alongside The OCM since it’s inception in 1997. She manages all aspects of the online Programme Support System with responsibilities for co-ordinating programme issues, identifying problems/improvements, implementing change and supporting candidates and participants on their programmes. Her earlier experience as a Quality and Project manager in the e-learning industry is particularly relevant.


Katherine LongKatherine Long, Lead Assessor
Katherine has been working alongside The OCM for the past 5 years following her own qualification with The OCM. In her role as Lead Assessor, Katherine is responsible for the ongoing rigour of our assessment process, implementing/ supporting EMCC and academic descriptors, identifying development needs of the Faculty and providing the necessary assessment training. Katherine has a wealth of experience in the field of intercultural training and international teambuilding as her pre-coaching experience was in the field of designing and delivering bespoke language training to international companies. She is approved by the Law society of England to deliver coaching CPD to solicitors. Her main area of coaching experience is with SME’s and start-ups.


Mel LeedhamMel Leedham, Lead Research and Best Practice Group
Mel has worked alongside the school since 2000 and is a qualified coach-mentor at Practitioner level and also holds a Masters Degree in Coaching and Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University where he now has a role as a lecturer on that programme. He now leads the Research and Best Practice Group project for The OCM with specific responsibility for the continuous professional development of the faculty; producing and commissioning research to enhance the knowledge base of the coaching and mentoring profession; and reviewing, updating and designing our extensive range of resources.
