By the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Recognise and describe an awareness of systems theory and apply a systemic approach in your work as a coach mentor.
  • Identify + /- forces operating in the system/s
  • Understand and plan for the challenges of coaching dual clients (individual and the organisation or team) ethically

Overview of the content:

Experiential learning: a variety of different practical exercises throughout the day to raise awareness and understanding of the systems we are coaching in and identify the operating forces and ethical challenges on the coach and the client.  Includes exercises to explore:

  • Identity  
  • Credibility and Power
  • Ordering Forces
  • Mapping Systems (table top and floor)

Exploration of Systems Theory: Lewin and Senge; Focusing: Gendlin; Coaching Constellations: Whittington, Borughton and Coaching on the Axis; Kahn.
