What makes a Purposeful Team and why this is it so important?

The key to creating and maintaining a purposeful team is in the conversations that they have. Are you and your teams having conversations that create shared insight into the context you work in? Do you have the honest and open conversations that develop real, shared clarity about the team’s purpose and priorities? And do you invest in conversations that strengthen engagement and commitment, which enable collaboration, build capacity and co-ordination?
The good news is it’s not ‘all or nothing’, teams can have conversations to create greater ‘purposefulness’ from any starting point, it’s something we can invest in improving every day.
