Unlike many coaching and mentoring organisations, we do not advocate any one theoretical coaching model. Instead, we support and encourage our consultants and coaches to use a wide range of approaches. Our approach is holistic and we call it ‘Situational Coach-Mentoring’. This approach ensures that OCM consultants and coaches draw both on their coaching expertise and their business acumen and experience, depending on the needs of their client. This means that coaches adapt to suit each client's need, energy and preferences, shifting constantly so that clients feel challenged, engaged and supported, and that they experience new ideas and new perspectives.
